General Volunteer Positions Include:
Athlete Registration Assistance – Mostly phone and email work to help athletes with questions regarding registering for their event.
Athlete Check-In/Registration - Aid in the athlete check-in process. Some competitions do have on-site registration for athletes which would require the handling of money and the sale of Badger State Games apparel.
Start Line - Assist in the organization of the start area.
Aid Station - Provide aid (water, course direction) to the athletes along the course.
Course Marshals - Provide direction for athletes while maintaining highest levels of safety.
Gatekeepers - Serve as an official on the course, noting participants who miss course checkpoints.
Finish Line - Assist in the recording of finishers. Assist athletes in the finish area. Help post results.
Awards - Assist in the distribution of medals.

What you get:
Badger State Games Volunteer T-shirt.
Depending on the event and amount of volunteer time, a meal and beverage would be included.
Volunteer Requirements:
No experience is necessary.
Most volunteer assignments are outdoors.
You must be able to work outside for several hours at a time.
Volunteers must provide their own transportation and housing.
Volunteers must be 16 years of age OR have adult supervision.
