On-site registration is allowed as long as athletes arrive in time to make the weigh in from 7:30-8:30am - entry fee for on-site registration is $40
Printable Registration Form All athletes MUST sign the Badger State Games Athlete Waiver online during registration or on the printable registration forms at check-in. Please the form completely out or it will not be accepted. (Waiver is attached to the registration form).

(Divisions are the same for boys and girls - grade completed during current school year.)
Grades K-2
Grades 3-4
Grades 5-6

Grades 9-12
Weight Classes: Grades K-2, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8, 9-12, Modified, Masters & Grand Masters have no specific weight classes. Wrestlers will be placed in brackets with other wrestlers of comparable weight. On entry form please state your approximate weight for planning. Large wrestlers over 285 lbs. will be paired as possible, but approximately 40 lb weight difference will be observed for safety.
Team Trophy awarded for the first Place Team. To qualify must have 10 scoring wrestlers on team.

Modified Folkstyle:
Over 18 years to 29 years.
Masters Folkstyle:
Ages 30 & Over
Grand Masters:
Ages 40 & Over
* If no girls available in a weight class they will be asked if they would like to wrestle in the boys division.

(WISCONSIN, ILLINOIS and MINNESOTA RESIDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE)
General Rules:
USAW rules apply for all folk style matches. USAW membership is not required. Wrestlers may participate in one division only. Changes may be made on Saturday due to scratches or errors.
Format:
Folkstyle: Grades K-2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9-12, Modified, Masters & Grand Masters
Regulation mats used for all divisions.
Matches will be 1-1-1 in length, unless otherwise stated the day of the event.
Brackets:
3-5 wrestlers..........Round Robin
2 wrestlers..............Best 2 of 3 matches
Equipment:
A reversible wrestling singlet is recommended but shorts and t-shirt or tank top are acceptable. No clothing may be "baggy". Wrestling shoes or non-marking tennis shoes are required for safety reasons.

For those that want to cheer on our athletes and to see them bring home the gold here are a few tips:
Best place to view the event & how much you can see: Spectators will have full view of the event/athletes while they are competing.
Seating Available or bring your own chairs: Seating available
Admission Fee: Not for spectators.
Concessions: Yes, concessions on site.
Carry-ins allowed (food &/or drink): Keep carry-ins in the cafeteria

Are Signs or Noise makers allowed: No, noisemakers not allowed

Weigh-ins will be on the morning of competition from 7:30 - 8:30am.
There will be no early weigh-ins.
